On November 23rd, Lisa-Maria Schmidt received the "NOBIS award 2018 for outstanding research" at the 12th Nobis Conference, which took place at the Museum of Nature South Tyrol, Bolzano. The Jury honored her talk about her master's thesis "Linking the ecological species concept with systematics of trochid gastropods in the Northern Adriatic Sea". (NOBIS Austria)

André Luiz de Oliveira's talk on "Key components of the neuropeptide signaling pathway  involving the eclosion hormone are found throughout the Metazoa" was awarded as the best presentation at the  Science Day Biology (March 12th 2018, UZA1 Althanstraße 14, 1090 Vienna) of the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Vienna, Austria.

at the 2nd NOBIS Young Researchers’ Day, which took place at the Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research, Rennweg 14, 1030 Vienna on December 1st 2017 .
